There are six dormitories and some facilities in Wakeijuku. Wakeijuku boarders can use these facilities for enjoying lifestyles of each.

  • All Western style single rooms
Tatsumi-dorm mates' room

All rooms of Wakeijuku dormitories are single and Western style. Each rooms are equipped with some furnitures, BS/UHF connection, Air conditioner. With regard to a bed, only a bed frame is furnished and mattress or blanket are not. If you want, you can apply for Bedding Rental Service.

East-dorm room(Plan)

East-dorm is a dormitory for undergraduates built in 1997. It has unique hallway, there is a lounge immediately outside boareder's room. A shower room (only for East-dorm mates), lavatories, lounge (tables, chairs and TV), laundromats (100Yen/time) and cooking stoves are shared.

West-dorm room(Plan)

West-dorm is a dormitory for undergraduates built in 2009. There is a hall in the basement, boarders can practice table tennis, dance, etc (other than West-dorm mates can also). Lavatories, lounge (tables, chairs and TV), laundromats (100Yen/time) and cooking stoves are shared.

South-dorm is a dormitory for undergraduates built in 1957. It is next to Student Center. Lavatories, lounge (tables, chairs and TV), laundromats (100Yen/time) and cooking stoves are shared.

North-dorm room(Plan)

North-dorm is a dormitory for undergraduates built in 2009. There is a Judo hall in the basement, Cultural Activity Judo and Shooto Club (Mixed Martial Arts) are held (other than North-dorm mates can also use this hall). Lavatories, lounge (tables, chairs and TV), laundromats (100Yen/time) and cooking stoves are shared.

  • Inui-dorm
Inui-dorm room(Plan)

Inui-dorm is a dormitory for undergraduates built in 1958 (First, it opened as North-dorm. It renovated in 2009 and reopened as Inui-dorm). It is next to Student Center. Lavatories, lounge (tables, chairs and TV), laundromats (100Yen/time) and cooking stoves are shared.

Tatsumi-dorm room(Plan)

Tatsumi-dorm is a dormitory for graduates built in 2005. There is a hall in the basement. Boarders can practice the music, dance or table tennis, etc (other than Tatsumi-dorm mates can also). Shower room, Study room (both only for Tatsumi-dorm mates), lavatories, lounge (tables, chairs and TV), laundromats (100Yen/time) and cooking stoves are shared.

Shared bath

In boarder's room, there is no private shower. Wakeijuku boarders can take a bath or a shower at Shared bath in Student Center. If you are East (undergraduate) or Tatsumi (graduate) dorm mate, you can use shower room in each dormitory.

  • Cafeteria

All Wakeijuku boarders have breakfast and supper at Cafeteria in Student Center. Meal fee (breakfast and supper) is included in Dorm fee. Lunch is also provided at 300Yen. Boarders can have late supper (20:30-22:50) when applying to their dormitory office beforehand (except Sunday and Holiday). In vacation seasons, we refund a part of meal fee for a certain number of days if you don't take meals.

We have a grand piano, study room (available 24 hours), music studio, auditorium, meeting rooms, tennis court, practice place of bascketball, martial arts hall and so on.

  • Location&Environment

Located in JR Yamanote-Line area, Tokyo, Wakeijuku boarders can go to universities easily such as Waseda University, Sophia University, Tokyo University, Gakushuin University and Hosei University.

In spite of such a convenient location, since 2.3ha of Wakeijuku land is the former Marquis Hosokawa Mansion, there are rich greens and many seasonal flowers in Wakeijuku. Its environment may make boarders feel refreshed.
